This past week signaled our return to team Hosted Leagues after a long time. We decided to join Next Level Endurance Series, a 5 races multiclass league with 6 to 12 hour endurance races. First even was held in Hochenheim and we choose to race in LPM2 class with Dallara P217. The other classes are GTE and GT3.
The previous week it was the start of the Creventic Endurance Series, an official iRacing series with four 12 hour races.
It is a multiclass league with GT3, GT4 and LMS cars. Our choice was the Ferrari 488 GT3 and the first challenge was in the iconic track of Spa-Francorchamps
The first big special event of this season in iRacing is the 12 Hours of Sebring, in Florida USA. We decided to compete with two cars, one with official drivers -Hellenic Racing- and the second one with both official and academy members – Hellenic Academy-.
We competed with two cars that both started strong and climbed the grid, close to p5 after the 2 first night hours. The rhythm was good but the mount is not forgiving to anyone.
During the last few days the preparations for 12Hours of Bathurst were under way, but we managed to find some time to compete in our beloved track of Sebring. On the race of the Saturday slot we raced with a team of Andy Perrs along with one of the newest Hellenic Academy members, Chris Kalamidas. […]
Last round of European Endurance Series was held in Silverstone. We chose to compete in LMP2 category with Dallara P217 in Saturday’s night and Sunday’s slots.
This year we decided to compete with a fairly new car in the service, the Dallara P217 LPM2. No qual time and we started 19th out of the 20 lpm2 cars of our split.
This season we focused in endurance racing in the iRacing Endurance LMS series, a hard multiclass fight with LMP1 LMP2 and GTE cars. The last two weekends the races held in tracks near forests in Germany and in Belgium.
New season, new cars and that means new challenges for us. What is the best way to celebrate this? Go crazy with 3 different endurance series and 28 hours of racing within 2 weeks!
This summer is one of the hottest for our team and the creation of the academy program has given a new vibe and freshness to our on track involvement. We have more focused and steady race plan every week with 6hour events or annual special events such as the glorious 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps with GT3 cars.
