A gamer that: before my first step I was a witness of my first race in an old military airport in Tripoli around 1986, that I got home from the nursery hospital in a car with roll cage, is impossible not to play racing games.
As far as I recall except some football games with friends and some FPS I was playing mostly racing games. It is without saying that I have played every need for speed title as a kid.
When I had the urge to find something more realistic .. more SIM than the average arcade racing, google send me to Live for Speed and via this simulator, I met the other guys of the team. Since LFS stayed without major updates (and without Scirocco), we have moved to iRacing.
